Fab Careers is hiring for one of it's clients , a Senior Accountant (M/F)

Mission

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review the input of invoices and expenses in the accounting system
• Perform controls and related reconciliations in relation with internal stakeholders
• Maintain accounting records up-to-date
• Prepare and deliver all statutory filings in IFRS, as well as CSSF Returns & long form report
• Be responsible for CSSF & BCL reporting (incl. STATEC returns)
• Prepare and process year-end accounting procedures in cooperation with the auditors
• Prepare short form report in Lux GAAP and the reconciliation
• Improve and develop the risk control framework
• Be an active member of the external audit compliance team
• Develop Product control activities for capital markets
• Knowledge of derivatives and hedge accounting is considered a plus
• Continuously take part in the improvement of operational procedures and contribute to product offering and service quality
• Report any customer complaints to your direct Management and to the Compliance Department

Profil

• Full ACCA qualification
• Knowledge and experience with Luxembourgish GAAP and IFRS
• Fluency in English required French or German is a valuable asset
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position working for a corporate or commercial bank
