Fab Careers is hiring for one of it's clients, an Asset Manager, a Junior Fund Accountant (M/F)

Mission

Accounting

• Book-keeping/ journal entries for Luxembourg Funds and subsidiaries on a regular monthly basis
• Monthly and Quarterly reporting to CSSF and BCL
• Other Monthly /Quarterly reporting to Custodian Bank/Internal risk reporting etc.
• Coordinate activities with other office departments and locations
• Preparation of payments and follow-up with banks
• Prepare quarterly reconciliations
• Coordination with tax advisors for the preparation of tax and VAT returns and liaising with local tax authorities
• Prepare annual accounts
• Manage audit process for relevant funds and SPVs
• NAV calculation
• Prepare reports for FATCA, CRS, DAC6, ATAD…

Consultancy

• Be a member of the valuation committee
• To add value on special global projects

Other

• To take over board membership in holding companies

Profil

• University degree ideally in Accounting or Finance
• Part qualified or studying for qualification in relevant accounting qualifications (ACCA, ACA…)
• 3-4 years of relevant experience gained with audit firm or trust company
• good knowledge of accounting (LUX-GAAP and IFRS) incl. consolidation issues
• Knowledge of tax accounting Luxemburg
• Communication and coordination skills
• Stress resilient and able to work under pressure
• Good self-organization, able to work with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of accounting system preferably Microsoft NAV/TArgit
• Expertise in MS Excel
• Good working knowledge of financial products, shares, hybrids, loans etc.
• Strong client focus skills and commitment to delivering quality at all times
• Eager to learn
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Good level of English and at least basic French
